Monday July 8th was finally the time for the MobiGoIn-Action European matchmaking event in Heidelberg! All the selected SMEs for WR 2, that have been part of the first phase in the project – the Acceleration Program for China/Singapore, had the opportunity to meet and discuss potential collaborations.
During spring 2019, companies from France, Sweden, Italy, Germany and Romania took part in several workshops and webinars to prepare themselves for their possible international missions to China/Singapore.
It was finally time to meet one another!
With the luxury to actually meet face-to-face and to explore future business possibilities, we arranged a matchmaking event in Heidelberg, leaded by bwcon, where all 22 SMEs were invited. The day started with a welcome speech by Veronika Kanzler from bwcon. The next presentation was held by Jochen Carlen and Jeppe Hau Knudsen from executive now.
They elaborated specifically around Singapore as a potential market and called their talk: Singapore – Green Lights instead of red tape. The day then continued with organised matchmaking and more networking between the companies.
This year ”Heidelberg Innovation Forum” was highly relevant for our SMEs.
So, Day 2 was therefore combined with this already existing event. The topic of this year’s forum was “Advanced Mobility in a Smart Environment “. It dealt with the topics Connecting (IoT), Energy (Battery), Digitization and Automation.
Together with external experts and other SMEs – the day was packed with inspiration and hopes for the future!
Pitch sessions was combined with great talks. Armin Müller, CEO Emm!, talked about “ILO – Automatization is the scope” and Ralf Klöpfer, Member of the Executive Board of MW Energie AS talked about how “Innovations – a key to sustainability”.
